ASTRONOMY / NIGHT SKIES
The goal of the Pinnacles Partnership Night Skies project is to host at least two annual Star Parties at the Pinnacles National Monument for the general public, one on the East side and one on the West side. The rural setting of the Pinnacles ensures a minimum of ambient light, offering a pristine dark sky location for viewing the Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, star clusters, and other deep sky wonders.
The Night Skies Project is co-chaired by Pinnacles Partnership’s David Baumgartner.
