Jr. Ranger Day!
National Park Week and Jr,. Ranger Day was full of excitement and people from all over, near and far. Below is information about the day, read more about how the week went in our newsletter the VOICE.
April 23rd, 10am to 2pm
In conjunction with the National Park Week, April 16th - 24th. Free park entrance admission to all parks in the National Park system. Become a Jr. Ranger at Pinnacles National Monument and celebrate National Parks Jr. Ranger Day!
Families (children 3 - 13) will be able to explore and learn about their national monument through fun filled activities.
Become a certified Pinnacles National Monument Junior Ranger br completing a FREE interactive booklet to receive our official Junior Ranger badge. Families can also participate in additional scheduled interpretive programs throughout the day.
Check in at the Pinnacles Visitor Center, located at the east entrance or the Chaparral Ranger Station, located at the west entrance for program descriptions and timess.
Also, the Western national Parks Association (WNPA) bookstore will be discounting all of its merchandise by 15%. Pinnacles National Monument especially encourages local communities to discover their national monument during this fee-free week. If interested, Locals may want to purchase a Pinnacles Annual Pass for unlimited entrance to the monument for only $15.00.
