Pinnacles National Park has been a part of the California Condor Recovery Program since 2003. The park now manages more than 40 birds, working with the parks condor program partner, Ventana Wildlife Society, they manage 90 condors in the entire central coast flock.  Each bird is monitored carefully after its release to increase its chances of survival. Note: This video was made prior to Pinnacles National Monument becoming a National Park. Pinnacles National Park is currently one of 5 Condor release sites.
